State Bank of India (SBI) paid a dividend of Rs 8,076.84 crore to the government for the financial year 2024-25, marking an increase from the previous year's Rs 6,959.29 crore. SBI Chairman C S Setty presented the dividend cheque to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The bank's record net profit of Rs 70,901 crore contributed to the higher dividend payout.
