Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) announced the launch of a scheduled service to Sapporo, Hokkaido, further expanding its network coverage in Japan. This new route will operate six weekly flights between Hong Kong and Sapporo (New Chitose Airport), starting 17 December 2025. Sapporo is the capital of Hokkaido, Japans northernmost prefecture. It is a popular ski and hot spring destination for many Hong Kong people, and the annual snow festival is one of the world-famous events the city has to offer
